Brevard Home Services Guide is a free directory of home-service businesses in Brevard County, Florida.

How listings are compiled

Listings are built from public sources: a business's own website, its Google Business Profile, Florida state licence records, and corporate filings. A listing is published only when its name, phone and location agree across two independent sources.

What the dates mean

Each listing shows the date its details were last checked. "Checked against public sources" means exactly that. Where a business has confirmed its own details with us directly, the listing says so instead.

What being listed does not mean

Being listed is not a recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee of work quality. We publish factual contact and service information so you can make your own decision. Ratings and review counts shown are Google's, recorded on the date given, and are not our assessment.

Listings we hold back

34 businesses in our records are not published because their details could not be corroborated, or because we have no phone number or website for them. A shorter directory that works is more useful than a longer one that sends you to a disconnected number.

How coverage is read

A business appears in a location search, and on a city or service-in-city page, for exactly one of three reasons, and every card says which:

• Based in [place] — the municipality of the business's own address.
• Publicly names [place] — the business's own published service-area statement names the place. Only whole place names count: "Melbourne" is not "West Melbourne", and a documented spelling variant ("Port Saint John", "Grant Valkaria") is treated as the same name. Neighbouring or combined names such as "Port Canaveral" or "Suntree-Viera" are not mapped to a city.
• States countywide coverage — the business claims to serve all of Brevard County (or the Space Coast) without naming the place. This is the business's own statement of coverage. It is not confirmation that it serves any particular city; confirm when you call.

Coverage unclear appears on a profile where the stated service area names no recognised Brevard place (for example only out-of-county places or "surrounding areas"). Such a business is shown only for the city it is based in. Counts on every page — and the same figures in the public JSON and the browser tools — are computed by this one rule; nothing is inferred beyond what the business itself has published.

Licences

Where a business publishes a Florida licence number we show it. Unless the listing says the licence was confirmed as active, treat the number as the business's own claim and verify it with the state before hiring.

If you own a business listed here and something is wrong, we want to fix it. Use the correction and claim form — it is free, and it is the same route for confirming that you own or represent a business.
